Is It True Overweight Teens Lose Weight During Puberty?

I have always heard that an overweight teen loses weight as part of pubescence, is this true?
Not unavoidably. A teen may grow taller, and keep the same weight, during puberty (having, therefore, a healthier BMI)... but this may not be truly for all teens. It depends on the individual teen's eating & exercise habits, as well as his genetics.
I separate they say that it's only supposed to be 2 lbs a week. Well, thats too slow!!! And since i'm 13 year old man's and I wanna lose weight. Say like 15-20 lbs (I'm 5'5 135 lbs) I wanna know if I can lose like 5 lbs a week. Hey, since i'm a teen i should be competent to lose it quicker than adults.
