If I Do Ab Work Outs Will I Lose Stomach Weight?

I was wondering if i do ab toil outs and lift weights, will i loses stomach fat? I know lifting weights wont agree to me skinnier, but i wasn't sure if ab exercises would make me lose weight. I only am worried about the stomach area and sides.
