I miss to lose weight and I lowered my calorie consumption to 1200 per day, I will workout on my treadmil but, how long should I workout and at what gauge in order to burn calories/lose weight?
Well, to lose 1 lb of fat (weight) in a week, you want to burn off 500 calories in a day.
This is based on the working that 1 lb of fat equals 3,500 calories and to lose this 1 lb of fat in a week you extremity to burn off in a day, an extra of 500 calories, on top of what your body normally

Hi, I can as usual squeeze in a mile per day on my treadmill. Machine shows 100 to 110 calories for this mile each day. Can I lose weight doing this? I'm looking to off maybe 10 pounds over the next six months or so. Thanks!

Ok, I miss to lose over 100lbs. I was recently diagnosed with a severe thyroid condition and I am now on medication for that. I also take a medication called topamax that left-hand me without an appetite. I thought this would be a good thing but it has turned out to be the opposite.
