I moral had a baby 6 weeks ago and gained 62 lbs. with the pregnancy. So far I've lost 34 and still have 28 to go!
I'm irksome the high protein-low carb diet .... but eating healthy protein (chicken, fish, turkey, etc.)
has this diet worked for anyone??? did you waste weight? and how long
Yeah it works...it's not very good for you at all, but it will burn fat quickly. I have a MO for pancakes made out of whey protein powder, but I've heard that whey protein loses its muscle edifice properties when heated.

Hello all,
My doctor has recommended that I go on a outrageous protein / low carb diet for my condition (it's an enzyme dificiency). Between 1200 and 1400 calories a day.
I've been difficult to do some research on the web but haven't found many clear cut answers.
I would support the Zone diet - just google Zone or Barry Sears, Ph.D.
He has a formula for a balanced mix of protein and carbs. 7 grams of protein for every 9 grams of carbs and 3.5 grams of fat. It would be easier to deliver assign to his book, because he does give portions in cups
