Can Anyone Recommend A Good Diet If You Have PCOS Other Than Southbeach?

I am looking for a diet that is good for someone like me with PCOS. I incline towards something that has recipes and a meal plan. I could also do a calorie counting type diet that is low carb but all that is so confusing to me -- is there any good books that could advise me with that?

Most people that have PCOS are insulin defiant. Controlling carbs is the best option for insulin resistance. I would suggest you talk to a PCOS forum (see first connection) I would also suggest researching iodine supplementation.

I was redoing my diet, and this is what I came up with:
Breakfast- 1 cup of 1% tap (110 calories) with 1 cup of plain cheerios (100 calories) and a granola bar (100-140 calories)
Lunch- A sandwich with half a serving of deli turkey (40 calories) on counterglow wheat bread
